Gregory Stone

Success Story

Gregory Stone, a 63-year-old resident of Garland, Texas, is an associate at Kroger grocery store who enjoys working in his yard and on house projects in his spare time.

Recently, Gregory injured his right foot and leg at work, which affected his ability to walk and perform his usual daily activities. Following the injury, his insurance company referred him for rehabilitation to strengthen his lower right extremities. Having previously been a patient at Mesquite Rehabilitation Institute (MRI) and impressed with the care he received, Gregory decided to return to the hospital for his current rehabilitation.

Upon admission to MRI, Gregory’s primary goals were to regain strength in his right leg and foot, walk more comfortably, and return to his professional and personal routines. During his 34-day inpatient stay, he worked diligently in therapy to rebuild his strength and mobility. He says the staff at MRI were a source of encouragement and support.

“I love the treatment I received at the facility,” he says. “Everyone was so nice and caring.”

Gregory now looks forward to returning to his everyday activities.
