Rosaline Kinoshita
Success Story
Sixty-six-year-old retiree Rosaline Kinoshita enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family. Rosaline has three children and six grandchildren. She lives in Rockwall, Texas, with her daughter’s and family, serving as the primary babysitter for three of her grandchildren.
This past spring, Rosaline began her day as usual; she felt fine and was watching television. However, while in the restroom, she became dizzy and collapsed, briefly losing consciousness. Her daughter found her and called emergency services. At the hospital, Rosaline learned she had suffered a stroke. The hospital recommended Mesquite Rehabilitation Institute (MRI) for her inpatient rehabilitation.
Supported and encouraged by her therapists, Kat and Isaac, Rosaline worked hard on her recovery. She returned home ready to embrace the changes in her life post-stroke. She’s eager to resume her everyday activities, including spending time with her family.
